Destination weddings are so fun for guests. They get to travel somehwere new and usually it means incorporting the wedding into a weekend away or holiday; so much to look forward to!
The tricky part of a wedding abroad is the wedding gifts. Usually you'll just be travelling light and so it can be tricky to include the present weight in your allowance. Here are our recommendations for great gifts to bring to a destination wedding:
Personalised cushion cover - Anything personalised and lightweight would make for a perfect gift to transport.
Gift certificate or subscription - The easiest gift to bring with your to your destination wedding. Arranage a gift certificate or subscription to start when the couple get back from honeymoon and include the information in a wedding card.
A bottle of bubbly or picnic - Arrange for a bottle of bubbly or wedding picnic basket for where they are staying in their wedding night. They'll be so grateful!
Honeymoon gear or currency - Money in the currency where the couple are going on honeymoon or any items that they might like to take with them.
An IOU - Something such as 'IOU Your First Marital Cocktail' or similar is a sweet way of showing you will have something organised for when they return.
